This Is Not A Joke- Shaq Wants You To Fund A New Shaq Fu Game

No, seriously.

Remember Shaq Fu? I wish I didn’t. Goodness, that game was horrible. But now they are trying to make a sequel to the game that even Shaq admits was terrible- and they want your help doing it.

I actually wish it was a joke, but it is not- the game is being fronted by Big Deez Productions, a team of video game industry professionals that comes from legendary projects like Halo, Street Fighter, Final Fantasy, Alan Wake, Spec Ops: The Line, Battlefield, Killzone, Max Payne, Duke Nukem, and many other huge franchises. But, they assure us, that this is not a joke or a quick cash grab- they actually do want to make a legitimately good game starring Shaq.

So they are putting it on Kickstarter- the purpose of bringing the game to the public, they say, is to see how much interest there is in becoming Shaq’s partner and in seeing the game happen. Shaq Fu will be a PC game, although iOS and Android platforms will be added at stretch goal $650,000. Consoles – PS3 and Xbox 360 – get a look-in at $775,000; Vita and 3DS at $960,000; Wii U at $1.08m; and finally PS4 and Xbox One at $1.62m.

I honestly don’t have much to say about this without bursting into laughter, so head to the official site and figure it out for yourself.
