I feel bad for Isaac Clarke; he goes through a lot of gruesome deaths. I think EA was having a competition for most horrible deaths, one these include an enemy impaling you on his talons and cutting off his limbs until there is only a torso remaining. The various NPCs (or hallucinations, whatever), some which include a man banging his head till it pops and a demented nurse also dot the landscape.
