24. Haze
It all started off so well, but some dolt in marketing made the mistake of dubbing this a “Halo killer”. Developed by Free Radical Design and published by Ubisoft, Haze disappointed with its level design, awful plot and direction, and clunky mechanics. Haze has been directly cited as the one reason publishers want nothing to do with anything remotely Free Radical-related, including Timesplitters 4.
