While we continue to get tons of amazing games, there are still dozens that we will never get to experience. However, we can still look back and dream about what could have been. Here are the 14 heart breaking and saddest video game cancellations.

Silent Hills

When it was revealed what P.T was, the gaming community went wild. A new Silent Hill game being co-developed by Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro, Silent Hills looked like it would be a horror game that would not only deliver horrifying and confusing imagery, but also raise the bar for the entire genre. Sadly, with Kojima’s departure from Konami the title has been canceled and P.T was removed from the PlayStation Store. We are left with the bittersweet, and terrifying memories of this promising title that never saw the light of day.
