No, Raiden is not technically a ninja in the truest sense of the word. But he’s still a ninja. Better yet, he’s a cyborg ninja, which only makes him cooler. Developed by Platinum Games, there was never any doubt that Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance would be an absolutely stunning character action game, and to no one’s surprise, that is exactly what it turned out to be, and then some more. It had the same bombastic, stylish combat you expect to see in Platinum Games, but better yet, it captured Raiden’s abilities as a superpowered badass cyborg ninja just so perfectly. We need a sequel for this… hey, one can always hope, right?
