If you were a PS2 owner, which I’ll assume you are if you’re this deep in the countdown, you have probably played or at least heard of the God of War series. The game featured a lot of gory hack and slash action along with some mentally stimulating puzzles. The game has the player control Kratos, a former servant of the Greek Gods who turned into the God of War. After the events of the first game, Kratos decided to join the Spartan Army to attack Rhodes, during the attack a massive eagle drained his godly powers, and then the rest went to Zeus who turned out to be the main antagonist. The game was regarded as one of the best games released on the console, alongside that title it was also thought to be one of the best action games of all time.
