Doom: Knee Deep In The Dead
Whoever that thought that Doom was just a violent video game was dead wrong, because as it turns out, the novel is pretty interesting and really hits home. As you would expect, it’s pretty much full on action, as the protagonist encounters all manner of zombies and demons, but with a lot of exposition and narrative proceedings providing a counterpoint, and a sense of context and gravitas. Without spoiling too much of the plot, the book is a good read, and should not be missed.
