Every game that hits the industry does not leave its mark on it. But there are some that do, are loved and are etched into our memories forever with nothing to blemish them. Or, better them. Sometimes, it’s just not enough to let go so early. Tonnes of games are continued for the heck of it by means of sequels, but there are some that demand their excellence be carried forward. Fifteen such games are right here.

14. Thief

The fourth game in the classic series that defined a whole new genre of gaming comes out in February 2014. Thief has been re-imagined completely and comes as a reboot with beautiful visuals. This first person action adventure game has a new approach that lets players step into a derelict world, sidestepping and sneaking up on enemies, walking the shadows and stalking the city with deadly precision. The game has a lot to deliver considering its past and it seems it won’t be disappointing.
