Only a few weeks left before the Wii U launches and several gaming outlets have started to receive hardware units for the same. IGN recently received one and according to them the Wii U will have a day one update.
This update apparently adds Miiverse, Wii U Chat, eShop and some other applications.
“We don’t know much more about this update, only that it will add Miiverse, Wii U Chat (the system’s ‘real time communication’ application), Nintendo TVii and the system’s eShop. We are supposed to get access to these programs shortly before the system’s launch through an upcoming system update – the same update Wii U owners will have to install in order to gain access to these features as well,” Richard George revealed to IGN.
The Wii U launches 18th November in North America and on the 30th November in the UK.
