WWE 2K16

This is augmented reality done well. Similar to how Nintendo handles Mii creation on the 3DS and Wii U, today 2K Sports announced that the Creation Studio in WWE 2K16, this year’s entry in the annual wrestling game franchise, will allow players to import their own faces into the game.

To demonstrate how this would work, the developers released a new video, showing us how Arrow star Stephen Amell got included in the game (turns out, it was done using this very tool). The tool looks pretty damn impressive, and highly powerful, allowing players granular control over every single aspect of their appearance, far different from similar features that have appeared in other sports games over the years.

You can check out the tool in action for yourself in the video below. Meanwhile, remember to stay tuned to GamingBolt for all of the latest and greatest news and coverage on WWE 2K16- we’ll keep you posted.
