The WWE 2K series returns for another annual outing in WWE 2K25, and with it returns the grind for both XP and the VC premium currency. While XP has the obvious utility in leveling up the player’s MySuperstar character, VC is primarily used for unlocking upgrades.

This guide has everything there is to know about grinding and farming both XP and VC quickly and efficiently in WWE 2K25.

The Island Story Mode

Simply playing through the story missions scattered across the four regions of The Island will net you a great deal of XP. VC will also be awarded, but due to the nature of the microtransaction economy in the game, these amounts will be relatively minimal, especially in comparison to the cost of upgrades. Unfortunately, this entire mode itself is unavailable to PC players.

Daily And Weekly Questing

These simplistic missions exist to incentivize regular logins, and consist of light activities to be completed in exchange for rewards. Daily missions are doable within 24 hours, but weeklies will likely take significant grinding over multiple days.

Playing Matches

1v1 online matches themselves will expectedly earn your wrestler XP, in addition to some small amount of VC. These should usually overlap nicely with the Dailies and Weeklies to save on time and effort.

Match Actions

You may be tasked with performing specific actions during the course of a match, with bonus XP being awarded upon successful completion. These in-match activities are not too difficult, and merely require players to know how to perform a particular move.

Locker Codes

A staple of modern sports games, these promotional codes are shared over social media or even in the game itself. Once entered and redeemed, Locker Codes usually rewards you with items and VC.Those are all of the known ways to accrue XP and VC fast in WWE 2K25.
