Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Gets New Gameplay Footage Showcasing The Battle System, Characters, and More

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is almost here- the game launches worldwide exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on December 1, and ahead of its impending release, the developers have taken to Twitter to share more media and information on it.

For instance, consider these Tweets which show us a fair bit of gameplay footage for the game when put together. In this footage, we get to see the game’s battle system (specifically one mechanic called the ‘Button Challenge,’ which is about timing attacks to deal massive damage), the game’s characters, world, and more.

It seems to be coming along and together really well- the original Xenoblade on the Wii is widely acknowledged to be one of the best JRPGs of all time. This follow up looks like it might just be able to live up to that legacy and heritage. Make sure to check out the new footage for the game for yourself below.
