The new Yooka-Laylee game is set to release in the next few months and it appears the title is right on schedule. It’s been almost two years since the game was first announced and its been a winding road since the game started to become a reality.

Now the develloper has announced that the title has officially gone gold. In total, it has been 21 months since the game was first offered up on Kickstarter. The title made its goal in rather quick time and the developers have been working hard to get the game out ever since.

Now the people who have been looking forward to Yooka-Laylee can take solace in the fact that game is going to be on their consoles and the PC in just a matter of weeks. Yooka-Laylee is going to hit the Xbox One, PS4 and PC on April 11, 2017.
