Fans of the Halo series were thrilled when it was announced that 2009’s Halo Wars would be getting a sequel, and that excitement has only increased as we get closer to the game’s launch date. No, this isn’t the mainline shooter experience that we’ve all come to expect from the series, but Halo Wars showed us almost a decade ago that the series can even work very well as a real-time strategy game. Halo Wars 2 looks to be taking everything that made its predecessor such a fan favourite and improving up it in every aspect, and frankly, it looks great. We simply can’t wait to get out hands on this one.
