Side quests have often been an area where the Assassin’s Creed games have faltered over the years. Critics often claim (and rightly so) that these side quests are generic and boring with uninspired design and objectives. However, as is the case with so many other criticism that have been levelled at the series through the years, Ubisoft are looking to address that issue with Assassin’s Creed Origins.
Ashraf Ismail, the game director of the upcoming Origins, recently took to Twitter to answer a bunch of fan questions. When one fan asked if the side quests in the game will be unique, or if they will be repetition like in previous games, Ismail confirmed that each side quest would be updated.
Ismail also confirmed a few other details for the game. For instance, the hit points that are visible on the screen in Assassin’s Creed Origins can be turned off if you wish to do so, while it’s also been confirmed that the control scheme can be changed by players as well, if they are not comfortable with the new one. Meanwhile, Ismail also confirmed that players will also be able to explore the city of Alexandria in the game as well.
Assassin’s Creed Origins launches on October 27 for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for continued coverage on the game.
