Assassin’s Creed Origins is going to be a similar experience across all systems, according to Ubisoft. While the game is going to differ in terms of technical aspects based on the power of the platform it is being played on, in essence, that is as far as the changes are going to go, as revealed by game director Ashraf Ismail in an interview during Rocket Beans TV.

Ismail says that the different hardware capabilities of the Xbox One, PS4, their variants and PC are going to mean that the game is going to differ on technical aspects on all different systems, especially for things such as loading times and draw distances and RAM and such, however, in terms of the content, Assassin’s Creed Origins is going to be the exact same across the board and will deliver the same experience.

“What I would say is, for all consoles, we’re trying to push all consoles and platforms – PC included – to the limits of what we can push them to,” says Ismail. This makes sense, of course. We’re no longer in a time when games have exclusive content on the basis of what system they’re on, and even though we often see exclusivity deals, most of them are usually timed deals.
