Probably the most vaunted feature on the Xbox One, and its biggest advantage over the PS4 and the Switch, is its backward compatibility functionality, which lets users play games from the Xbox 360, and soon, the original Xbox, on the new console.
Microsoft has slowly but steadily been adding the biggest hits from the Xbox 360 to the Xbox One compatibility list, which now numbers in the hundreds. And the newest four games that they have added should make a lot of fans take pause and take notice- especially fans of a certain dark knight.
Yes, Batman: Arkham Origins, the 2013 follow up to Arkham City, is now playable on the Xbox One via the backward compatibility functionality. The game remains unplayable on the Xbox One or PS4 otherwise, since it was not remastered alongside the other Arkham games. You can check out the full list of the new backward compatible games below.
- Deadliest Warrior
- Disney Bolt
- Fighting Vipers
