The original Bayonetta is a superlative action game, outdone only by Bayonetta 2, which was, impossibly enough, even better. While Bayonetta was ultimately made available for a gamut of systems, Bayonetta 2 remains a Wii U exclusive- Nintendo rescued that game from development, produced it, and even helped with development.
So of course, there are many who have not yet had the chance to play Bayonetta 2– however, that may be about to change. On their Japanese Twitter handle, Platinum Games posted an image of Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 that otherwise might have been innocuous- until someone pointed out on Twitter that it has the exact same color scheme as the Switch’s iconic neon Joycons. In and of itself, this wouldn’t have meant much- but Platinum went ahead and liked the tweet, as well as a multitude of others that mentioned the game coming to the Switch.
Given Platinum’s history with teases for their games this year, I think we have enough to be going on with here- of course, this is not final, not confirmed, and it may possibly just be Platinum having some fun. But Pandora’s Box has been opened- and inside it was a tease for Switch versions of Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2.

PLatinum is favoriting every mention of Switch under their post, so I would say there might be something there.
