A double whammy of information concerning Quantic Dream’s upcoming action adventure title, Beyond: Two Souls which is coming exclusively for the PS3 and features the talents of both Ellen Page and William Dafoe.

Firstly, a bunch of new screenshots and concept art has been revealed. They showcase Jodie in her childhood years, obviously being experimented on and monitored for her psychic potential. The other more prominent details indicate her training in hand to hand combat, and living on the streets in poverty.

Meanwhile, gameplay lead Caroline Marchal spoke to VG247 an an event in Paris regarding the overall length of the game.

Marchal responded with, “I think it’s longer than Heavy Rain because there is more exploration. It’s difficult to say right now because we are, at the moment, pacing the game, so things change and lines are moving.

“But I would say between 12-15 hours of play, depending on the player’s choices.”

Beyond: Two Souls is currently slated to release on October 8th 2013.

Update: Check out some of the newer gameplay videos that have been making the rounds as of late.
