Call of Duty Ghosts Receives New Patch, Adds Field of View Sider

After complaints that Infinity Ward might be blocking third party FOV changers for Call of Duty: Ghosts on PC, the developer has released a new update which adds an FOX slider. The FOV or Field of View has been a point of contention for players for a while now, especially since it was limited but now players can increase it to a maximum value of 80.

The update is 454 MB in size and will automatically be added to your game the next time you update in Steam. Other changes will be abound so stay tuned for the full patch notes.

Will this assuage players who rely on third party extensions to get a decent field of view? At least it’s a way of meeting them halfway. The question now is, what other improvements and changes has Infinity Ward brought to the table.
