Digital distribution lovers can rejoice.

Sony has been putting a lot of games on PSN, especially the ones from EA, and according to Crytek, Crysis 3 will be available on PSN as well.

I’m not so sure whether the PS3 version is a right choice here considering Crysis 2 ran much better on the PC and Xbox 360, but if Crytek have optimized it well and the PS3 version is a good port, the Dualshock 3 controller could prove to be an advantage.

This was confirmed by PSLS after they had contacted EA, and tbh I’m not surprised with the publisher’s decision to have a day 1 release for it. They even put Mass Effect 3 on PSN, and depending on regional pricing, it’s hard to say what it will be in your country.

The game comes out on February 19th for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Crytek flat out denied working on a Wii U version.
