Destiny 2 Officially Announced

Confirmed, at last.

Posted By | On 27th, Mar. 2017

We knew it was happening, and now it has happened- Bungie and Activision have confirmed Destiny 2, the long expected, discussed, speculated about sequel to the original shared world shooter. Bungie confirmed Destiny 2 via a Twitter post, with some art and ‘Destiny 2’ splashed all over it.

As of right now, this is literally all that we have in the way of information- we don’t know the release date (though we can speculate), we don’t know the platforms (we can probably speculate on those, too), we don’t know any details about the story or gameplay, and we have no official media- no trailers or screenshots.

That said, that information is probably forthcoming- for now, many fans are doubtless excited that Destiny 2 is a thing, and it’s enough that it will be a substantial step up (hopefully) over the first game’s unfulfilled promise.

Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information on Destiny 2.
