Fantastic Pets offers first augmented reality experience for Kinect

THQ’s pet simulator, Fantastic Pets, offers Kinect users their first legitimate augmented reality title.

“Fantastic Pets is an amazing game that lets kids play with their virtual pets in a whole new way,” says THQ executive vice president, Martin Good. “Kinect made it possible for us to be among the first to explore and develop an augmented reality game unlike any other.  In this game, kids are able to see their pets come to life next to them on the TV screen as if they were real.”

Are you excited about yet another pet sim on the market? Us neither, though the augmented reality aspect of the game sounds intriguing. Check back with us soon for our full review of Fantastic Pets.
