Nintendo’s newest mobile game, the free to play turn based strategy game Fire Emblem Heroes, is now being released on iOS and Android smartphones (via the App Store and Google Play, respectively) worldwide. The game, which was announced and confirmed in Nintendo’s Fire Emblem Direct from a couple of weeks ago, brings the addictive turn based strategy RPG mechanics to mobile, while also allowing players to be able to play with popular characters from across the franchise’s history.

Nintendo has also announced that there were over 1.2 million votes cast for the Fire Emblem Choose Your Heroes event that Nintendo held ahead of this game’s release, confirming that they will be sharing the final results from the poll shortly.

Fire Emblem Heroes is presently available in Europe and Asia, and it should be slowly rolling out in other regions, including North America. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage on the game.
