Here is the second video developer diary for the Xbox Live Arcade game Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime.  Published by Atari and developed by Behavior Santiago, the game is 4 player co-op.  If the game is anything like Ghosbusters: The Video Game, this top down co-op shooter is sure to be fun.  The game will also be available for the Playstation Network and PC as well as XBLA on March 23rd.

Sweeeeeet. I’ve been hooked on Dead Nation and this seems a lot like it. Hope the price isn’t too high to buy.

i dont think Ill be dling this game…to many other high price items to take my attention.

It’s a shame the retail Ghostbusters underperformed, it was a really solid game. At least we got this arcade game. As sum1 who grew up watchin the films I am grateful 4 whatever I can get.

this sort of reminds me of the top down Nazi zombies from Black Ops. I’m sure it’ll be fun, is there a pricetag? I don’t see it being any more than 10 to 15 bucks.

I have a feeling its going to be 19.99, after all they have to pay through the nose for licensing. I think this game is gonna be asking to high of a pricetag.

hopefully not, I’d actually buy it if it was 10 bucks but 20 is waaaay over priced. The Zombie game in Black ops is already ripped off of another top down zombie shooter that came out over a year beforehand. It was called Zombie Apocolypse, it was pretty much the same exact game including the types of guns available. The format doesn’t seem to have changed for this ghostbusters game, the weapons have though so hopefully that breathes some life into this. I’m sure the enemies will behave the same though, there’s not much you can do with a game like this, it’s gonna look the same no matter what you do.

yah, there isnt much way of improvement for a top down game like this, the formula hasnt changed much sinse the Super Contra days… but i highly doubt that you will see a tag of lower then 19.99…i would totally pick the game up if it were in th $10 rqange

I wish this was a solid — retail — sequel because I loved the original, but maybe it will been heading to retail with another next installment. I don’t think they can convey the spirit of Ghost Busters without voice acting, I got high hopes I just hope it doesn’t disappoint.

I dont htink you will see another retail installment for a while, i think the main point of the last game wa to beidge the gap in the series and get the fans excites for the next GB movie…you will probably see a game come out that is a movie tie in game…hopefully it wont suck…but movie games almost always do

Don’t think this will drop @ over $15. $10 is a possibility, I am keepin my fingers crossed. $15 seems 2 b the ceiling unless it is a retal game or a series of games like Back To The Future. I think Trine was $20 @ 1 pt but that was a big mistake & they realized it & dropped the price.
