Given that the game started its life as a PS3/Xbox 360 title, Grand Theft Auto 5 looks surprisingly great- and now, as if it needed any help looking pretty, there appears to be a brand new mod out for it that makes it look even better, at least on PC.

The Redux mod will launch for the game on August 26, and it is a thorough overhaul of the game’s graphics and visual systems- it increases the quality and quantity of effects in the game, adds brand new real life textures to be used for billboards, and also completely rewrites the game’s weather system. The result is a substantially better looking game- you can check out just how great it looks in the video below.

Grand Theft Auto 5 is available now on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC (though the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game are now no longer supported).
