GTA V to release this October – Report

Posted By | On 09th, Apr. 2012

Rockstar may be planning to release GTA V this October – if the CV of Character animator Alex O’Dwyer is to be believed. Rockstar’s other game, Max Payne 3 is scheduled for launch this May, and it would be highly unlikely that we would see GTA V the same year, but you never know.

The CV has been taken down and this happens in the majority of cases when there is such a sensitive leak. It would be amazing to see GTA V this October considering the Wii U is launching near that window as well.

Bioshock Infinite also launches in October and when you consider how big that title is for Take-Two, they wouldn’t want GTA V to overshadow it in anyway. So an early next year release for the game seems more likely.

Thanks, Joystiq.
