Take that, 3DS!

The PlayStation Vita might not be getting a great many original games anymore (seriously, Sony has just left it out to dry), but hey, at least it can be used to play PlayStation 4 games portably! One of these games is also the biggest game of the year, Bungie’s new magnum opus, Destiny. it might not be coming to the Vita, but as long as you are within range of wireless, you can play it on your handheld. Take that, 3DS!

The new video shows off what Remote Play will be like on Vita. Keep in mind it’s an idealized demo, and in real life, it will be much choppier than that- Remote Play has had latency and lag issues, as well as basic screen tearing, and the like. For a game like Destiny, which is after all a shooter, all of those factors may prove to be detrimental to the gameplay experience.

Destiny is out on Xbox and PlayStation consoles soon. Stay tuned.

“The biggest game of the year” REALLY ???? you really meant to say “The biggest “HYPE” of the decade”
“Take that 3DS” really ‘GB’ …….. You’re sounding more and more like ‘SONY’ fanboys , and less like balanced gaming website….

The concept of sarcasm, does it elude you?

you didn’t even have a chance to level up your character to join a guild, play online updated missions, or compete in post level 20 missions. actually, at the point you wrote this you didn’t get to play anything besides the beta version…you sound like the fanboy. destiny isn’t the best game out, but it’s a very cool and pretty addictive game. transistor is my favorite ps4 game, but it isn’t as addictive as destiny.

…and i do like the 3ds…but it’s a system that’s geared more to kids and people like my sister, niece, and fiance (who all own one.)
