Hover - Revolt of Gamers

Midgar Studios has recently launched its Kickstarter for what could seem like the dream game. Hover: Revolt of Gamers is a parkour/free-running game that takes inspiration from the likes of Mirror’s Edge and Jet Set Radio. Did we mention it’s in full HD cel-shading?

But there’s more to it than that. Hover sees you in a world where you must free the oppressed gamers in the city and infiltrate the control centres of the anti-gaming agenda. You’ll be stealing game consoles, fighting off the Mayor, dodging security drones and much more in the process. You can also play as multiple characters, taking the gamers who have been recruited and using their abilities to succeed. You’ll also be able to level them up in the process.

Hover: Revolt of Gamers is planned for the Xbox One/PS4/Wii U and PC/Mac/Linux. It’s also adapted to Oculus Rift so get those barf bags ready. Hit up the Kickstarter page to pledge your support.
