Metal Gear Survive Won’t Be A Full Priced $60 Game

Does this make it any better for you?

Metal Gear Survive

Konami’s announcement of Metal Gear Survive, the zombie shooting co-op multiplayer shooter somehow set in the Metal Gear universe, earlier today was a lot of things, but expected was not one of them- of all the expectations that people had from Konami and the Metal Gear franchise going forward, I think we can safely conclude that this was at the bottom of the list- if it was on the list at all.

The good news here, if there is any good news to be found in all of this, is that if there are any of yo who want to pick the game up – out of morbid curiosity, or because you genuinely want to give the game a chance, or because you do think it looks legitimately fun – it won’t set you back by as much as a game ordinarily would.

GamesRadar reports that the game is reportedly going to be just 30 Euros, which translates to a $30 price point in the United States- meaning it is a budget priced release. That may make it more palatable for a lot of people. I don’t know if I’ve come around to it yet myself, however.

Metal Gear Survive will launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC in 2017.
