One could possibly underestimate the appeal of Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer series, but it’s magnanimous gameplay quality and features have made it one of the big two of the sports gaming franchises (alongside EA’s FIFA). Now, Konami looks to expand it’s net more, licensing 20 Brazilian team to it’s franchise.

Said teams include Flamengo, Corinthians, São Paulo, Santos, Portuguesa, Internacional, Palmeiras, Fluminense, Ponte Preta, Coritiba, Grêmio, Vasco, Atlético Mieiro, Bahia and many more.

Along with new gameplay features like PlayerID and full player control, we’ll see if that allows Konami to finally beat it’s rival.
