Phil Spencer: We Want The Xbox One X To Be The “Absolute” Best Version of Games on All Consoles

Ambitious words by the Xbox boss.

We’ve heard a lot about how the Xbox One X will help developers make truly excellent looking games for consoles, with visuals that could almost match what one might see on higher end PCs. We’ve seen stuff from games like Assassin’s Creed Origins, Forza Motorsport 7, Crackdown 3 and so much more, and we’ve heard developers telling people that the Xbox One X version of their games are probably going to be the best console versions.

That, it seems, is exactly what Microsoft is working towards. Xbox boss Phil Spencer recently took to Twitter, and he claimed that it is Microsoft’s goal to have the best console version of all games on their own Xbox One X, and that it is something that they are collaborating with other developers for.

From what we’ve seen of games such as Assassin’s Creed Origins, it seems like that might indeed be the case. The Xbox One X is significantly more powerful than any other console on the market, and it definitely looks like it might be the home to the best versions of multiplatform titles.

The Xbox One X launches on November 7 worldwide. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for continued coverage.

“we really want X to be absolutely best console version of a game, working with devs to make that true – Phil Spencer

I appreciate how you compared the X to Sony’s top end console as well.

Here we go with this, “were smokescreening the fact that we have no exclusive games to show off our new console, by claiming to have the best version of 3rd party games” nonsense again. The Xbox One X will not have the best version of the best exclusive games on any console. Games like The Last of Us 2, Days Gone, Spiderman, God of War, and there are truly no comparable quality of games to be found in the Xbox library. How pathetic is that?

Oh, I’m sorry, how rude of me to interrupt. Please, by all means, carry on Mr. Ceo of Xbox Console Failure.

Nothing “comparable” to the “quality” of these games which have yet to be released. Now how much of a pathetic Hirai worshiper do you have to be, to declare that these games, which are still in development, to be great, and you have not played them yet? LMAO
Nevermind it’s Doggystyle being Doggystyle, praising and worshiping the gospel of Hirai.

There is, and will never be anything comparable on Xbox to the quality of exclusives found on the PS4. Then, now, and forever. The Xbox team simply doesnt have the studio talent to compete, and you know this already. That is why they are advertising the best version of 3rd party software. Are you stupid? Why do you even argue about it?

Seems like you have mistaken console news with pc news.

Now either the gangs all here…or some pathetic soul remembered his passwords to try and make himself look popular.
And don’t try and change the subject or move the goal post as you clowns like to do. You specifically said “The Last of Us 2, Days Gone, Spiderman, God of War” and hinted that these games are great, despite the FACT that you have yet to play them.
The X will have the better multiplats! No amount of begging or praying to your almighty god Hirai, will change that!

Sold, day 1. Nice work Xbox.
Kinda embarrassing that the PS4 pro is incable if even downloading and running 4k textures and assets.

Shame about that rapid packed math thing not being included on the Xbox consoles, but hey, what did you expect from Xbox? They always seem to overlook that one thing that might give them an edge. Whoop, there it is. Enjoy those slow downloads. Your downloadable game assets will be ready to play sometime next Wednesday.

You clearly haven’t seen the news on Xbox new loading system just about to come into play, oh hang on ! its Mrxrat or whatever you call yourself today, that will mean you do know about the new system only you don’t want to believe it.

Nice Fake Upvotes on all your posts here ..

Funny you mention RPM, yet you were nowhere to be seen when GamingBolt showed a game actually utilising it on a newly released game:

      “Codemasters have also revealed that F1 2017 utilizes PS4 Pro’s FP16 operations…”

“If you are a PS4 Pro owner and if you own a 4K TV, then F1 2017 will be rendered in full 4K output resolution of 3840 x 2160, achieved through a checkerboard reconstruction technique”.

Yet it runs at 4K/60 on the One X already…

Funny that, the “8.4TFLOPS RPM” isn’t making it run better on PS4 Pro vs the One X. I wonder why that is?

Uncle Phil states the obvious to an Xgimp begging his masters for something positive to hear.

    This is news, apparently.

      GamingBolt called. Rent is due.

And please respond with something new other than “Prince Little D”. It’s old, and most importantly…I’m not gay. Nothing wrong with being gay mind you, but I this website is not for that type of activity and the Blue Oyster Bar sounds like a good spot to find what you’re looking for.
