Middle-earth™: Shadow of Mordor™_20141002005512

Among the many existing PlayStation 4 games that will be updated to support PS4 Pro enhancements will be Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor. The 2014 action adventure hit game will be updated for the PS4 Pro, and it will even manage to hit 4K resolutions as a result.

The best part? it hits 4K without any hit to its framerate- it manages to maintain a steady 30fps throughout Whether the 4K resolution is native or upscaled is not something that is known as of right now, but it seems like the update will be substantial regardless.

You can check out the launch trailer for the PS4 Pro build below for yourself- I personally think the game looks great, even if it is not ‘real’ 4K. The PS4 Pro launches today, for $399, while this update is now available to download for all existing owners of Shadow of Mordor and its Game of the Year re-release for absolutely free.
