We’ve already discussed the pre-E3 2017 survey sent out by Microsoft, which asked users questions about the Nintendo Switch. It looks like that was not the only Nintendo product that the survey asked users about- apparently, the SNES Classic is also referenced in the Xbox survey.

The question is asking users to rate their interest level in upcoming announcements, and SNES Classic is listed among the possible ones. Now of course, there is a possibility that Microsoft is just spitballing here, and has listed it there based on the rumors. There is also a possibility that it is aware of the impending reveal and release of the SNES Classic, and it listed it there without knowing that it was pre-empting the announcement.

E3 begins next week, and Nintendo’s own conference is on June 13- so if the SNES Classic is real, we should definitely be hearing about it in a couple of weeks.

I think the reason Microsoft was asking consumers about the SNES Classic is because they are thinking of making an Xbox Classic with original Xbox games for us…. I Vote Yes… Do it.

MS realizing too late they should have copied Nintendo instead.
