The Witcher 2 Xbox 360- new details and release date announced; new trailer is also here

As promised, CD Projekt RED has given new details on the upcoming Xbox 360 version of The Witcher 2, given a specific release date and also shown a new trailer (given above).

The Witcher 2 will be released on April 17  for the Xbox 360, and this console version of the game will have 2 major new adventures worth 4 hours of gameplay, a new character panel and important characters, new control and camera schemes, 33 minutes of new cutscenes including a CG cutscene at the beginning of the game and much more.

The game will ship on two discs with an extra disc for the sound track.

CDPR has also announced a Dark Edition for the game costing $79.99, which will include everything the normal edition does, a 200 page artbook, a making of DVD, some stickers and and a metal Witcher’s head medallion.

An Enhanced Version will also be released on the PC on April 17.
