Zebes (Super Metroid)
Zebes was, to be fair, the entire setting of Super Metroid, not exactly a level or a mission. But the game was structured in such a way that it felt like one big mission, one big level. And what can be said about that hasn't already been said? Super Metroid is supposed to be one of the best games of all time, and Zebes one of the best settings. If you want more proof of the fact that it deserves to be on this list, go play the game yourself, and you will, surely, agree.
