World of Warcraft: Attack at a Funeral
What, You didn’t think we were done with WoW yet were you? The worlds most popular MMO, certainly there is going to be a larger amount of terrible things people have done to one another in this game, but this one really takes the cake.
Some time ago, a player died in real life. A well-known gamer on the server ended up having her online friends throw the departed an old fashioned, black suit and tie funeral. Things were going just fine until a guild showed up like a rival mob attacking an enemy’s funeral procession to get revenge.
The Guild, “Serenity Now,” walked into the cemetery and just massacred everyone. I’ve got to say, it’s a pretty entertaining thing to watch, and if you ask me the right way to send out a fellow warrior on their final journey. Nothing quite says we’ll miss you like a bloody and violent fight to the death.
