Energiser – Outlast

You’ve probably played Red Barrels’ Outlast and maintained some of your sanity in the process. The game focuses on running around an asylum with only a video camera to guide you in the dark. Can you imagine trying to play the game without ever reloading the camera’s batteries? Well, the Energiser Achievement expects that much.

You have to finish the game on Insane difficulty without reloading batteries, which means that once your starter batteries are depleted, it’s the worst set up to “And Soon The Darkness” since the actual set-up to “And Soon The Darkness”. It’s dumb not because it’s absurdly difficult but also because of the comical nature of it all. You’re more or less stumbling your way to the finale for crying out loud!
