E3 is always full of embarrassing moments and, whilst it may not have had some of the truly cataclysmic fails seen in previous years, the 2013 expo also had its fair share of embarrassment. From big game announcements to interviews, no company executive is safe.
Sometimes it’s due to an unavoidable technical fault, some incidents were caused by corporate ego and one particular example was the fault of a large group of douche bags that are sadly indicative of a small segment of the gaming press. 1. Assassin's Creed 4: Black F-lag
When it comes to live demos at expos, developers are damned if they do, damned if they don't. Rather than suffer the usual hate slung at pre-rendered videos, Assassin's Creed 4 was shown off live during the Sony segment of the expo. Sadly though, technical faults rendered the whole thing laggy and glitch-ridden, before it finally crashed fully. It's not anyone's fault really, as these things do happen, but it certainly was awkward.
