We examine ten established game series that could do with some open world action.
2. Monster Hunter
I guess this one's a cheap entry, as the Monster Hunter series has always had a focus on big hunts, but the areas themselves are always smaller sections that are connected together in a piecemeal fashion. If only for fewer loading screens and a more immersive sense of continuity, it would be great if future MH games featured larger open maps instead of the numbered sections we're used to.
