Paper Beast
From the mind of Éric Chahi, known for classics like Another World, Paper Beast is a curious combination of first-person exploration and artificial intelligence. It sees the player traversing an enormous paper ecosystem, manipulating their surroundings and helping the wildlife in different ways. Said wildlife will react to the player accordingly and provide solutions for puzzles. Paper Beast offered a stellar aesthetic well-suited for VR on PS4 and PC but also made for a great non-VR adventure title with its Unfolded Edition. Unfortunately, despite critical acclaim, both versions collectively have less than 200 user reviews on Steam. Regardless, if you’re looking for an unorthodox adventure with gorgeous visuals, it’s well worth a look.
