8. New Vita Model/Price
The Vita has seen greater adoption after a recent price cut, but it still isn't holding up against the 3DS and the ever-increasing rise of mobile platforms. Though the PS4 will be Sony's primary focus at E3, they might slip in a Vita related announcement in the form of an additional price drop or a new slim hardware revision. I know which one would entice me to get a Vita more, but either option would benefit the platform's appeal.
