The PlayStation 3 has not only seen games that played well, but also told a great story via a number of cracking cutscenes. Through this short article we take a look at some of the most hard hitting and stunning cutscenes on the PlayStation 3 that are going to be etched in to our hearts forever.

10. inFamous: The Beginning

Empire City has been destroyed by the Ray Sphere and at the epicenter of this blast was Cole himself since he was unknowingly carrying a package which had the Ray Sphere in it. Some how Cole manages to survive the blast. He then makes his way out of the blast site, only to find out that he has changed. His body can absorb electricity from nearby objects like cars and traffic signals and lays the foundation for an epic franchise.

9. Heavenly Sword: The Death of Nariko

Heavenly Sword had some amazing motion capture and that is the kind of hi-tech stuff one can expect from Ninja Theory. Among the midst of some great cutscenes, the one that really stood out was the ending, Shen and Kai giving Nariko the final farewell, a warrior who just saved them and their clan from the evil King Bohan. Take a look below.

8. Resistance 2: It’s been an Honour sir

Nathan Hale has to be the most unfortunate guy in video games. In Fall of Man, he saved the world from the rise of Chimera but in the process got himself infected. In Resistance 2 he would often find himself at odds with Capelli, cause who would like to be close to a chimeran infected human being afterall. In the end when Capelli and Hale save the world from the Daedalus, something unexpected happened. Check it out above. Rest in peace, soldier!
