The idea that every game needs to be a hundred hour-long behemoth to justify its price tag is a flawed one- quality always trumps quantity, after all. But if you do want that kind of bang for your buck, thankfully, recent months had you spoilt for choice with a deluge of games offering dozens upon dozens of hours of gameplay. Here, we’re going to take a look at a few such games.
FORZA HORIZON 5
Forza Horizon 5 is what happens when an open world game pays equal attention to quality and quantity. The open world of Mexico is massive, beautiful, and wonderfully diverse, overflowing with street races, dirt races, PR stunts, Showcase events, and a number of other races for players to take part in. Then there’s all that excellent optional content scattered throughout the map, like the bonus boards, the speed traps, the multiplayer content, the barns. Even aimlessly driving around the open world is something that can keep you occupied for hours, given how inherently fun the excellent driving mechanics are.
