Fully orchestrated soundtrack

Just listen to that soundtrack above. Not only is that one of the best Pokemon soundtracks ever, it is also the first fully orchestra recorded soundtrack that was included in the game exactly as it was, in non-MIDI format. Each Pokemon game has excellent music, but each is held back by the restrictions of the MIDI format. We want Pokemon Generation 6 to have a full orchestra soundtrack, each and every one of the tunes fully orchestrated. It would be epic.

Third person view

This is just based on what we saw in Castelia City in Pokemon Black and White- a lot of the city was in a third person view, and it looked great. With the next Pokemon games most probably coming on the 3DS, Nintendo will have to do something to take advantage of the hardware’s capabilities. So replacing the tradition top-down view of Pokemon games with a new third person view would be perfect. Not only would it give the games a very fresh feeling, Game Freak would also be able to go all guns blazing in the graphics department, an aspect where Pokemon games have generally been lacking, and maybe add some new features such as gyroscopic camera control too.

Better online functionalities

Pokemon Black and White had great online functionalities, but even that was not good enough- there’s a lot Game Freak can do with online in Pokemon games, so much so, that they can make it worldwide phenomenon like Halo or Call of Duty. I don’t know, maybe add seemless online integration, without the need of Friend Codes- obviously that will be possible now, with the 3DS. Add online random battles that carry experience point separately for online, add co-op missions that actually can be classified as proper missions, not the half assed ones we saw in Black and White. There’s a lot that Game Freak can do in the online department, and we’re hoping they will take some progressive steps forward.
