The Riddle – Trials HD

Trials HD

When Trials HD released on Xbox Arcade in 2009, it captivated many with its gameplay. However, a certain set of fans were enthralled by The Riddle. This was the term used to describe the inclusion of many famous works of art by Leonardo Da Vinci, the Fibonacci sequence, and much more throughout levels (some hidden and others requiring careful exploration to unearth). The overall “solution” for this seemed hopeless, until community member FatShady got in touch with creative director Antti Ilvessuo and created a video in 2012 explaining the purpose behind it all. As it turns out, the common unifying theme of these works was of mankind asking questions, exploring mysteries and learning about the world. Despite how mundane the solution seemed, it was still an incredible hunt.
