PATCHES (DARK SOULS SERIES)
The Dark Souls fanbase has an age-old love/hate relationship with Patches. Throughout the course of the series, he has appeared many times, and taken several different forms. Every time, he tries to entice players with the promise of riches and treasures, but each time, he tries to trick you, from attempting to kick you over the edge of a cliff to locking a gate behind you, in hopes of looting your body once you’re dead. That said, Patches’ traps can still at times lead to hidden areas or loot, so they can actually work in your favour if you handle yourself well.
