MARIO + RABBIDS KINGDOM BATTLE
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle was really given no chance by the masses when it first leaked ahead of its official announcement- and surely, at that time, the very existence of such a crossover felt like it warranted all the criticism in the world. That the actual game ended up taking everyone by surprise is a bit of an understatement, because it turned out to be a much better game than anyone had anticipated- which included its visuals as well, as you’d imagine. Every screen of the game was an absolute delight to look at, from the gorgeously detailed and colourful environments to the way the excellently animated characters reacted to and interacted with the things that were around them. Mario + Rabbids stands as one of the best looking games on the Switch even now, four years on from its launch.
