2 – Metal Gear Solid 4 (2008)
This masterpiece got perfect scores, reviews, and managed to crush all the competition. What made this game so awesome was the perfect blend of brilliant storytelling and gameplay, mind-blowing graphics and sound as well as awesome shooting and stealth mechanics. That it was the conclusion to the story of Solid Snake helped too.
