Rocket jump is not only a stupid way to get to higher ground, it is also a sure shot way of getting yourself killed. There are times you may be successful, but that does not diminish the fact that it is a suicidal way of getting yourself killed in quite a dumb fashion. Case in point, never rocket jump in Halo. It NEVER works.
